Happy Mardi Gras!

My parents were going out to watch the parades today for Mardi Gras. My mom was planning on dressing up as a pirate (but no sword!) and if they took pictures, I'll have to include one here.

There's variations on the story of the tradition of king cakes, but this website has the story closest to what I learned growing up.
